Honestly, the first impression of the place is that it is perfect for resting from the busy city. Later on, I realized that the area is suited for both resting and varied tourist activities. Some of these are included in this list.

  1. Giac Vien Pagoda

A more traditional and pagoda, a place that has not been renovated or refurbished since its construction that is what the Giac Vien Pagoda is all about. The old yet charming beauty of the pagoda is overwhelming.

The beautifully colored caramel church built back in the 19th century is still a wonder to behold up to this moment. Expect that as you go here, you will be welcomed by a serene environment matched with amazing architectural beauty.

3. Banh Mi Huynh Hoa

7. Bitexco Financial Tower

The Bitexco Financial Tower is a 68-story building resembles a lotus bulb shape. They also have a Skydeck, which allows people to see the city from the top view. The view is relaxing and entertaining at the same time.

The total area coverage of the Mekong Delta is 39,000, and it is for sure enough to make you feel at home. Well, it will let you see the amazingly simple life of the people, something that brings a different level of peace and serenity. 

16. Ho Chi Minh City Museum

Established back in 1885, the Ho Chi Minh City Museum holds a vast collection of historical pieces of artifacts. If you want to know the place better, then this museum is the best spot to visit.

18. Notre Dame Cathedral

Built back in 1877 and 1883, the Notre Dame Cathedral is situated in the middle of the city. The neo-Romanesque architectural style of the cathedral will blow you away. If I must say, it is as if visiting one of the cathedrals in Europe.

19. Backpacker Street (Phạm Ngũ Lão)

20. Phuoc An Hoi Quan Pagoda

Hailed as one of the most beautiful pagodas in Ho Chi Minh, the Phuoc An Hoi Quan Pagoda is decorated with lots of colors, specifically yellow, gold, red, and orange. It has lots of brass ornaments on display.

21. Reunification Palace

Once served as the home of the president back in the Vietnam war, the reunification palace is very historical. There are guided tours to maximize your visit to the place fully.

22. Tao Dan Park

A relaxing walk in a park is ideal. But pair it with served coffee will make it even more inviting. The place is famous for the signature ca phe sua, or the well-known coffee. So, grab a hot cup of it while you are here.

23. Museum of Vietnamese History

The museum is known for its rich collection of exciting and ancient objects. Aside from that, it is also situated in a botanical garden. That is why it will be sure that you will see lots of gardens and flowers as you visit.

24. War Remnants Museum

A more educated way of visiting the place is by dropping at the War Remnants Museum. They have old battleships, guns, grenades, and all every war objects you could expect. This is a safe place, and it is, of course, very educational.

25. Cu Chi Tunnels

The place is known to be established back in 1986 as a tunnel used by Guerillas. The underground chambers of the tunnel are about 30-kilometers. Thus, making it an interesting place to explore as a part of knowing history.
