As a consultant for Quan Delicacies for over 21 years, I recently conducted the “Empowering Excellence: Supervisory Seminar for Food Service Professionals” at Quan Delicacies and Pueblo. This seminar was a transformative experience, showcasing the company’s unwavering dedication to continuous improvement and excellence. A Legacy of Excellence

With a remarkable 39-year legacy, Quan Delicacies has solidified its position as a trailblazer in offering native delicacies in Bacolod City and is now expanding its reach into Manila, La Carlota City, and Talisay City, Negros Occidental. Under the astute leadership of Ms. Chole Chua, the company is dedicated to continuously delighting its customers by introducing new products and enhancing its existing offerings.

At the heart of Quan’s operations is Pueblo, the main producer of its renowned products, under Ms. Agnes Cuenca’s adept leadership. Her daughter, Ms. Carla Gequillana, is gradually assuming a more prominent role, ensuring a smooth generational transition. Meanwhile, the Manila branches are overseen by a third-generation family member, Ms. Camille Gequillana. This seamless passing of the torch exemplifies Quan Delicacies’ unwavering commitment to maintaining excellence and continuity as it expands its presence and offerings.

During the seminar, we had the pleasure of celebrating the 60th birthday of Juvy Cabrillos, a supervisor who has dedicated an impressive 37 years to Quan Delicacies. Juvy’s steadfast commitment and loyalty are a shining example of the positive work culture fostered by Ms. Chua and the entire Quan team. Her years of service not only demonstrate her dedication to the company but also serve as an inspiration to her colleagues.

It was truly heartwarming to witness Ms. Chua herself at the seminar, taking the time to meet with her frontliners and express her gratitude for their hard work and dedication. This gesture not only showed Ms. Chua’s appreciation for her team but also highlighted the strong bond and sense of family within Quan Delicacies. It is this culture of mutual respect and support that has helped Quan Delicacies thrive for nearly four decades, and it was a privilege to celebrate such a milestone surrounded by such dedicated and passionate individuals.
