This program is designed to overhaul the aging infrastructure inherited from CENECO and modernize the electrical distribution system to meet the ever-increasing demands of Negros Occidental.
Negros Power President and CEO Roel Castro has stated that seven out of twelve power transformers in their franchise area have exceeded their standard operational lifespan. The modernization plan encompasses upgrading feeders, replacing deteriorated structures, clearing vegetation around substations, and implementing advanced metering systems.
