Our chosen destination was the SM City Bacolod branch, and the excitement in the air was palpable. But there was an extra reason to celebrate – a good friend and the new SM Mall Manager, Julia Javellana, joined us for an early dinner. Upon being seated, we were served the Family Fiesta Pack, a generous assortment of Mang Inasal’s best offerings. The pack usually includes three pieces of large chicken legs and six pieces of pork barbecue, complete with peanut sauce and rice, priced at an affordable 709 pesos. However, due to the ongoing pork-related concerns in Negros Occidental, we were pleasantly surprised to receive a variation of the pack with six chicken inasal (legs), perfect for our group of 6, priced at 799 pesos. The succulent chicken legs were grilled to perfection, tender, and flavorful, while the aroma of the barbecue made our mouths water in anticipation.

Our feast continued with the Palabok Fiesta Pack, taking our taste buds on a delightful ride through the flavors of the Philippines. This dish was a crowd-pleaser, packed with all the traditional ingredients that make palabok a Filipino favorite.
