The Biri Rock Formation has a total of six rock islands – Bel- at, Caranas, Macadlaw, Magasang, Masapad, and Puhunan Rock Formations. How to Go to Biri Island Rock Formation 

There are two main types of significant transportation that one could take in going to Samar. It is either through a plane ride from Manila to Catarman or Calbayog or a bus ride from Manila heading to Matnog Sorsogon. From Catarman, ride a jeepney to Allen or Calbayog and alight at Lavezares town proper. Head to the fish port and inquire about pump boats heading to Biri. From Calbayog, available jeepneys and vans are heading to Allen. From there, you may take a tricycle ride heading to Lavezares. Those who would take the bus now to Matnog Sorsogon may board a ferry directly to Allen and ride a tricycle to Lavezares. Lastly, you can now board on a boat heading to Biri.

What are the Fees to Pay?

The standard rate for the boat from Lavezares to Biri is Php.60. For those who would like to go on a special trip or have the ship on their own without sharing it with other passengers may have it for Php.750. Once you reach the island, there will be a Php.50 Environmental Usage Fee (EUF) per person. To teach the rock formation, there will be available habal-habal to bring you to your destination, and the regular rate for three-person is Php.195. For the required group guide, you will have to pay Php.300, good for five tourists.
